The Ecoprise course is the first international learning offer combining Ecovillage Design Education with social entrepreneurship, while integrating the 4 dimensions of sustainability, bringing together topics which are hardly ever offered in a comprehensive learning course: permaculture ethics, ecovillage design principles, circular economy and the importance of ecopreneurship; environmentally sustainable actions. To obtain the Microcredential Certificate, participants must successfully complete the required examinations. Course Objectives
This course equips learners with the knowledge and skills to design and implement sustainable business solutions through the Ecoprise Regenerative Entrepreneurial Model. Key objectives include:
- Developing Ecopreneurial Mindsets – Encouraging innovative and regenerative approaches to entrepreneurship.
- Enhancing Resilience – Strengthening transversal and technical skills through multidisciplinary learning and Ecovillage Design Education.
- Bridging Theory and Practice – Offering a certified learning path with real-world applications.
- Fostering Collaboration – Facilitating knowledge exchange between Higher Education (HE), Vocational Education and Training (VET), and aspiring ecopreneurs.
- Supporting Green and Digital Transitions – Training a new generation of Ecoprise Designers, tutors, and trainers to drive transformative change.
